Bringing the African Asterisk Community together
The 2016 Asterisk Community Conference will be held at The Maslow Hotel in Sandton, Johannesburg, on 16 and 17 February. It will be the first Digium-endorsed conference of its kind in Africa. An officially sanctioned event on this scale is a not-to-be-missed opportunity for local Asterisk users and providers. The conference will give delegates the opportunity to interact with local experts and international guests from the cutting edge of Asterisk development and integration, as well as to delve deeper into Asterisk and associated products with some unique training opportunities.
There will be Industry experts on hand representing not only Asterisk itself, but many of the products that can be deployed in conjunction with Asterisk to meet a multitude of different needs such as QueueMetrics, ViciDial and xCally.
Digium’s Training Manager, Melissa Shepherd, will be on hand to provide Certified Asterisk Training. She will be hosting the Asterisk 1-2-3 training course (a condensed version of the Asterisk Fast Start course) on day 1 of the conference.
